The lantern and how to make one ...

..... or rather don't!

This is my lantern right after I finished it. 

I proudly put it on the mantelpiece!

A few hours later DH comes home and asks me if I had done it on purpose !?!?!?!? 

I didn't get it. 

He said it was beautiful the way it turned out, all crooked and bent just like the Haunted House in a film he had seen a long time ago. I about fell off my chair when I turned and looked .....

What we learned today?
Do not use cardstock to create a lantern, always use sturdy chip board!!

I personally think it was cast by a bad spell from the very beginning. I ordered the die, they didn't deliver, so I got it at another place and it took forever.

She never ceases to amaze me ....

... please take a look at the wonderful card she made for me! 

I am so tickled about the beautiful paper and the stickers she has sent me.

Some impressions on my run ...

The weather is very bad, but I still found some nature worth taking a picture on my run this week ..... I just love it when the sun comes up so very slowly through the fog.

Actually this is my *HALLOWEEN* entry into the 12 TAGS OF 2012 from Tim Holtz, but I got carried away. I started with the tissue paper and used almost the same colours as he did. But then my mind wandered off and I ended up with a total different story. I don’t use glitter anyway so there is none in my stash, but I do love Antiquities and used a lot of it on my creation. Hope you all enjoy it ;)
