Just a tag ....

.... for a monthly challenge at our board. 

It had to have embossing, so here we go ...... nothing special

12 Tags of 2013 ....

.... as usual I'm a bit late with my tag, but well, it's still April and during the last few days I had gardening to do. Today it's just pouring and getting colder by the hour, so I created my tag.

This is for the Tim Holtz event *12 tags of 2013*

 I used a packing from a die for the dragon fly, works just as well as the "Clearly for Art" and it's almost always in the house ;)

My Tag has the number "5" instead of a "4",  because I will be giving this to a friend for "Bon Voyage", she's leaving for Thailand in May ;)

*SPRING* at MOO-MANIA .....

Here we go again on our bi-weekly challenge at Moo-Mania.
The theme is ..... well, what else?

*SPRING*

A Moo is a little card sized 2.8 x 7.1 centimeters,
or approximately 1.1 x 2.8 inches.

Come on over and join in the fun, you can't imagine all the stuff that fits on that tiny little piece :)

Some little home decor ......

It was my turn to post a tutorial at My Sketch World. I decided to go for home decor, a lantern for our table on the terrace.

This is what I need for my creation:

Cardstock (Not to light!), Vellum, punch, dies, cord, pan pastel,
distress ink, water spritzer

I cut four templates with a Sizzix die; you can cut any shape,
 such as a rectangle, an arch, just anything!



I applied distress ink .....



.... and “spritzed and flicked” it with water …..



….. all dried up now!



I cut some “holes” into the top, you can use any die or punch,
such as flowers, snowflakes, circles etc.



I applied Pan Pastel to the vellum …..



….. punched circles …..



….. and glued them to the back of the template.



Now it’s time for the decoration. I cut a fence and as and
afterthought also some grass,



which I glued together …..



….. and adhered to the template, creating a little “belly”!



I fixed all four templates with a tool (clamp) and punched
the holes. This way they will all be on the right position!



Done



I added the birds and the butterflies (also an afterthought) ….



….. and tied all templates together with a cord. I always use a pen
or something similar in between, this way my “hinges”
can still move and I don’t ruin the sides of my templates!



A little present for a loved one, a little take along for a friend,
or just put it on the mantel or on the terrace in Summer,
that`s where I keep mine

I made it some time ago and it desperately needed some changes ;)

Doll dresses for Stampers' Sampler

I received my copy of the latest issue of the Stampers' Sampler yesterday and I stopped breathing for a moment. 

Not only had they published THREE, yes you got that right, 3 of my entries, but one on the most popular spots on the page .......

I am so excited!
