Good morning my friends,

another Tuesday and another creation using my Rubber Dance Stamps.

This time I created a card using the beautiful lady again, I'm quite hooked on her, maybe it's the pretty curly hair that attracts me so much ♥

I used the #DAV1-L: Da Vinci Set! Hop on over to the shop and see all the beautiful stamps and stamp sets Bibi offers!

You probably also know how it is, this "BOO" effect in the morning .... Well, I do ;)

Looking in the mirror sometimes makes me think it's October, 31st ALWAYS and EVERYDAY :)

.... maybe I feel a bit like an owl? .... here and now? Now and then?

Anyway, this doesn't spoil my spirits, I make fun of it and myself and create accordingly ♥

This is my creation for the October 2014 Tag by Tim Holtz.

As usual I wandered off quite a bit. I must say I LOVE the background, it looks even better IRL! I will work with this technique more often!

Exciting news ... ♥

Yes, I have something to tell you ....... I will be part of the new design team at LCOM, which stands for "Let's capture our memories"! I am so tickled :) I will be designing cards and I am sure I will have so much fun since it's a sketch blog and I do love sketches.

I have always regretted very deeply that My Sketch World, where I had been on the team for a long time, had closed down.

So, now off to new adventures ♥

Rubber Dance Stamps!

Good morning, my friends!

It's Tuesday again and I will show you something I created with the Rubber Dance Stamps.

This time I used the flowers and the lady from the #DAV1-L: Da Vinci set and created two ATC's .....

I also used "Hello" from the  #JNEN-2E: Just a note sentiment stamp set!

The hat is a BossKut die I have had for ages :)

I used my Rubber Dance Stamps for the challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers, what a great bunch of ladies :)

Mona Lisa in a cage with a sentiment I doubt she would have used, well it's just the  freedom of the artist!

Can you tell that I have an affinity for birds and cages?

Mason Jar with Rubber Dance Stamps!

Hello everyone, it's Majo from the Design Team here at Rubber Dance Stamps, and today I want to show you a “Mason Jar”  I created to give to my friend along with tickets for the Museum of Art!

I cut my templates with the Sizzix Mason Jar die designed by Eileen Hull.

 I stamped the flowers from the B2-L: Vintage Bird Set and heat embossed them with white embossing powder, which I ironed off to get a smooth texture again. I applied Distress ink “Bundled Sage” and Wild Honey” and spritzed & flicked with water.

This shows that the embossed areas don’t take colour, creating an interesting background.

I stamped the beautiful lady and the sentiment from the DAV1-L: Da Vinci Set on either panel. 

I cut a small tag and stamped the word “ART”. The “lid” was stamped with the Burlap background stamp #BK2-2E: Burlap and heat embossed with chunky embossing powder.

 I assembled all parts with double sided adhesive tape.

Autumn Tray

Today I took out some of my Tim Holtz dies and created my autumn tray. I can hardly wait for night to come so we can light it up:)

Good morning my friends!

This week I will show you a one-layer-card I created with Rubber Dance Stamps!

I stamped the burlap panel on white cardstock with Tattered Rose Distress Ink. The beautiful lady from the Da Vinci Set fit right onto that background and the sentiment underneath from the set Just a Note goes with the look on her face ..... I think ♥

The one-layer-cards are perfect for mailing overseas!

Tuesday at Rubber Dance Stamps!

Hi ladies,

Tuesday, my day to show you a creation with the wonderful Rubber Dance Stamps.

This time I decided to try something I had seen on the net.

I colored watercolor paper with distress inks and cut out my dragonfly. I embossed specialty stamping paper and applied some matching distress ink since I didn't want it to stand out so much. It took off some of the shine, but not all of it, lovely :)

After I put it all together I applied some dew drops and stamped "DREAM" from the brandnew Da Vinci Set. Perfect for my card!

October Colour Challenge - Vintage Tones

Welcome to the Rubber Dance Monthly Art Stamping Challenge!

Our challenge is all about colour! Each month we bring you a gorgeous colour scheme to kick-start your muse. 

Both our winner and Pick of the Month will get badges to proudly display on their blogs. Winners will be announced on our blog on the 7th of the following month, so remember to check back to see if you won!

For October our colours are beautifully vintage - step back in time with sepia tones and shades of brown.

I used stamps from the new DAV1-L: Da Vinci sheet to simple stamp the main focal image, placing her behind a die cut window. The card is finished with hearts, painted with Crackle Paint Rock Candy, that look like they are 'growing' from the window box and a sentiment from Darkroom Door. I added a brass telephone just for the fun of it :)

.... and of course, there is no window without lace curtains!
