A card for a 50th Birthday...

... for a guy I haven't met! 

It is one of DH's colleagues, and I haven't met him yet. We don't know anything about his preferences so I decided to keep it simple. Just hope he likes it.

An early BOO ...

.... at the City Crafters Challenge Blog!

Well, not for me, I started already and have so much fun with it ;)

 I also entered this into the challenge at the stampinroyalty where we were challenged to use die cuts! I definitely used quite a lot of them ;)

This is my entry for the challenge.

I used the Spritz&Flick technique again, one of my favorites and one of the easiest with a heck of a result ;)

Some weird template ... this is what I thought when I saw it in early spring. But well, I managed to create something with it and I was also published again .. oh, what a thrill!

September Sketch at My Sketch World

We had a wonderful sketch from Lucy to work with in September, this is my take ....

The background is crumbled glassine paper, distressed and stamped, also the flower is made of glassine paper, cut with Spellbinders Aster Flower Topper.

I felt a little bit gloomy when I created this card and it definitely shows it, so I decided to create another one, this has more cheerful colours and  represents another time of the day :)

The hearts are cut with a Kesi'Art die, the paper is an older MME.

“Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2012”

This is my September Tag for “Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2012”.

I worked with different kitchen gadgets for my faux riveted metal background. I tried to apply Alcohol Ink to the metal foil, no success; it just would stick to it. So I decided to use acrylic paint instead, it also gives my tag an antique and worn look. The metal still shows in some areas.

I cut my letters and numbers from a pretty strong tin foil with the “Word Play die”, on this foil my Alcohol Ink “stuck” …  

My creations for the Labor Day weekend!

At My Sketch World we spelled out the word "Labor day" and created something for each letter. These are my takes on the challenges ...
