12 Tags of 2016 - September

Last minute creation for the challenge at the Tim Holtz' inspirational blog.

I had a very hard time creating this tag in this special technique and finally gave up. As soon as I applied the solution with the sponge, the whole background just "swam" away and smeared it all up. 

This is as close as I can get to the original technique :(

Publications in Stampers' Sampler

The Summer issue of Stampers' Sampler has surprised me by giving me a whole page for my creations. Love it so much. I had so much fun creating these cards, I'm very much into Halloween, even in January when I made them :)

As always I forgot to take pictures before sending them out, so this is a picture of the magazine, please bear with me :)

 

Steampunk Ladybug and more .....

I created 3 ladybugs for Stampers' Sampler and I love to show them to you, the first two were published in the latest issue of 2016.

I was so excited when I received my Stampers' Sampler issue, opened it up and found my decorated envelope right on the first page :)

I used a combination of VivaLasVegaStamps and Rubber Dance Stamps.

Here is my take, I used Rubber Dance Stamps on my Moo ..... of course :)

Challenge #234 at UYS - Butterflies

I used the Tim Holtz Mixed Media 2 dies for my tag, added Gesso and stamped it with StaZon in Rusty Brown. 

I cut the butterflies with the Tim Holtz Thinlits and added a sentiment from VLVS. A piece of Jute Rope finished my project :)

I try to show you the effect of the die cut covered with Texture Paste, looks so cool IRL ...

Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style

Today is my debut as a Design Team Member of Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style.

I have been into PL for 5 years now and enjoy every minute of it. Many times we talk about events and try to remember the exact date. Project Life helps :)

Welcome back to our challenge at Use Your Stuff!

I decided to make a canvas with the beautiful choice of colours. They look a bit darker than IRL, but still, I like it ....

I used the Mixed Media dies from Tim Holtz, Gesso and lots of paint. The die cuts are the Tim Holtz Wildflowers.

New DT member at EyeConnectCrafts!

This is my debut posting as a new member of the Design Team at EyeConnectCrafts.

I chose to work with the large scalloped Picture Frame.

I applied Gesso for some texture and added acrylic paint in different colors, also a metallic paint to give it a more vintage look. I added some hemp cord with a little star attached to one side and used it as a frame of my stamped panel.

To make it stand up I cut a piece of cardboard to hold it upright.

Watercolor Flower Card at UYS

Use Watercolor on your project!

Another fun challenge #232 on our blog after the summer recess at Use Your Stuff!

I used water colors for my background, watered them down a bit with water drops and hest embossed my stamped image with Stampendous Detail White Opaque Powder.

I took off some of the color on the flower and the leaves with bleach.

Caffeine?

Another CAS card using the most versatile texture stamp from Darkroom Door ....
