LCOM Challenge # 100 ♥

This is the beautiful sketch we had for our Challenge #100! at Let`s capture our memories!

.... and this is my take:

There is a $10 gift certificate to Let's Capture Our Memories! So why don't you join us?

Welcome Home ♥

Welcome Home ..... from different points of view ♥

When we came home from the hospital last night, Cookie, the *CAT*-cat (On the carpet in the hallway) threw herself on the back over and over again: “HOORAY …. Mom’s home!”

Emmy, the *QUEEN*-*LADY*-DIVA*-*LEADER of the HOUSEHOLD*-cat (On a bench in front of the chimney) barely glanced at me: “This will cost you!”

I’m so glad to be home ¿

Tuesday at Rubber Dance ♥

Well, I'm still having fun creating Christmas cards (even after an order of thirty, which I already delivered), especially with the wonderful Rubber Dance Stamps sentiments for the season.

This is my card, which I embossed on the top only. I stamped my sentiment and embossed with Stampendous Detail white Opaque powder, my very favorite for detailed stamping/embossing!

I added some greenery I cut with a Sizzix die and added the lace.

Rubber Dance Tuesday!

Good morning, my friends!

Today I want to show you a one-layer card with Rubber Dance Stamps. Convenient for sending it by snail mail, where you want to make sure, a little embellishment doesn't get caught in the machinery :(

Time to light up the candles!

Hello everyone!
Today I want to show you how to create a little holder for a Tea light with Rubber Dance Stamps.

I started with 4 cuts of the Sizzix Die “Mini Cabinet Card” and applied distress in in Brushed Corduroy and Pine needles, spritzed & flicked with water.
I randomly stamped with the set of nature prints called Pines Fir Yew and embossed with clear embossing powder and cut out the snowflake in the upper section.

The words were cut with the Sizzix die *Holiday Words Script*, I added some Perfect Pearls Mist “Biscotti” for a little sparkle.
For the windows I cut 4 circles from vellum and glued them on the back.
I punched holes in all for cabinets and added hemp twine.

This makes a little gift, easy to send by mail,
since it’s all flat or just as a take along present.

I suggest using battery tea light, since the vellum tends to curl itself up a bit when it gets too warm!
This is the cozy light you will have at night!

Have fun crafting!

Hugs from Majo

Rubber Dance Stamps ..... getting ready for the season ♥

Good morning!

It's my turn to show you something I created with Rubber Dance Stamps.

The beautiful fir branches (#NP6-M: Pines Fir Yew) are right down my alley and I knew immediately what I was going to do when I received them ....

The sentiment is from this set: #SEC4-M Christmas Greetings

Aren't you ready for some Christmas Cards yet?

Falling Leaves cont'd

I am hooked!

Yesterday I created a medium size ATB with Tim Holtz Falling Leaves stamps for the challenge at A Vintage Journey . They fit perfectly on this size of cube.

Today I created another one with the largest cube and I was able to use my Tim Holtz Mini Blue Print stamps. I stamped them on sticky canvas.

Once again I coloured the cube with Distress Ink Peeled paint and Rusty Hinge.
I added two pieces of burlap and a button on top.

I was inspired to make this ATB because of the theme "Bountiful Harvest" on the A Vintage Journey challenge blog.

Still .... I love Autumn colours ♥

Falling Leaves

For the challenge at A Vintage Journey I created a medium size ATB with Tim Holtz Falling Leaves stamps. They fit perfectly on this size of cube.

I coloured with Distress Ink Peeled paint and Rusty Hinge. To the stamped leaves I added some Rub Ons from the Botanical sheet.

I was inspired to make this ATB by the theme "Bountiful Harvest" on the A Vintage Journey challenge blog.
There are some amazing creations from their DT!

.... and I love Autumn colours ♥

BTW: Anyone also planning on adding a brad, please do this before you assemble the cube. I didn't, so mine looks a bit wonky now :(

Snarky Sisters!

Hello my friends!

I was voted Queen of Snark for the I is for Iconic challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers

I won a guest designer spot and created something for

 T = Thanks ... for nothing ♥

So much fun!

You know deep down inside I'm also just a little bit snarky, just a tiny little bit :)

And just to make sure she understood ...:

Our monthly colour challenge at RDS

It's November and time to create something for the upcoming season.

Please come on over to our challenge blog to win some amazing stamps ♥

I used my favorite stencil from TCW with Claudine Hellmuth Gesso and applied distress ink in Wild Honey, Barn Door and Peeled Paint. I spritzed & flicked with water to take the paint off the stars and to create an interesting background.

The die cut is the “Victorian Carolers” by Tim Holtz. I used the sentiment from the Stamp Set #SEC4-M Christmas Greetings and some Washi Tape from my stash. I added a piece of Kraft Cardstock cut with the “Vintage lace” border die from Sizzix.

Have a lovely day
Majo
