Advent Calendar 2011

I finally finished my calendar. A little late? No, we start to open drawers tomorrow, so there's plenty of time.

I worked with the Kaisercraft Calendar and used Simple Stories "25 days of Christmas" paper. The stamps are Unity. I cut the ornaments with Spellbinders Tags.

I enter this calendar into challenges at City Crafters Challenge blog for my St. Claus and challenge HSSABAC95 at Hand Stamped Sentiments  for the ornaments as well as into the Paper Variety.

I just added a little fence with #24, I like it better that way :)

Unfortunately the light is too gloomy to take  a better picture, so I leave the older one as well!

A Pink Christmas .....

What a colour! Pink for Christmas? The ladies at the City Crafters Challenge Blog had thought this up for challenge #84.

Well, I managed ... :) I used Spellbinders Heirloom Ornaments and the Waltzing Mouse Stamps. The ink is Stampin' Up Cameo Coral (My Pink).

The challenge at Fun with ATC's called for dragonflies,

this is my creation.The stamp is a Paper Artsy!

A little something for the wall ...

I am absolutely inspired by the creations of the ladies at Simple Stories, I always visit their blog for new ideas.

This tray caught my eye, so I had to have one for the wall in the dining room.

The Design paper is Simple Stories. I stamped and embossed kraft paper and cut the ornaments with Spellbinders Tags. The larger ornament is a Stampin' Up punch!

This reflects a bit my mood at present.

Nina will be turning 4 in November

Since I don't create cards for children too often, I'm not really an expert. But I tried and came up with this little card for my friends almost 4 year old GD.

I thought she would get many, many Fall/Autumn/Winter cards during her life for her birthday, (I know what I'm talking about!) I will create a springy one for her :)

When returning home from some time in the hospital after my back
surgery I had to "allow" DH to take over :)

He managed brilliantly!

I was not a very patient person during that time, but he just soothed out all my nagging with a smile and even more comfort for me.

(All I have to do now is "unspoil" the furries!)

At HSSTC92 the challenge is "Over the top", so I really went over the top. I cut, punched, stamped, embossed, glued, layered to meet the requirements.

At CCCB the challenge is to create a "Thank You" card, so I also met that requirement.

Aah, so much fun on a sunny afternoon!

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week #81 - Postcard and a swap

The reason .... well, I was given some new stamps today. Ok, they were not really given to me, (other than by the post man), of course I bought them.
