Impressions and a Colour Splash

I combined two challenges again, the CropStop challenge for the impressions and the Play Date Cafe for the Colour splash. It is tempting as they both start on Thursdays!

I used two folders, the Swiss Dots and Texture (my most favorite) and cut the oval with the Spellbinders Deckled Ovals. I have had the flower stamp for a long time and don't know the manufacturer.

It is so hard to see the colour purple, it's the deckled oval underneath the white!

Some Baker's Twine, a metal flower and a little heart button and here we go :)

You all have a nice weekend now!

*Sew* much fun!

For this weeks challenge at the City Crafters Challenge I created a card once more using an older paper from K&Company, Prima Roses, a Tag I found in my stash and and image from (I think) Papermania and some crystals on the lamp.

The sentiment is computer generated.

Thanks for stopping by!

Present for my friend

I made this door sign from grunge board and covered it with a page of an old book and Tattered Angels *Hay Ride*. The labels are Spellbinders #4. The metal bird was found in my stash .... oh that stash!

She just picked it up and was all thrilled about it :)

Squares & Die Cuts at CropStop and a colour challenge at TPDC

Usually I do not combine challenges, but this time it was so simple to use any die on a square card with a colour challenge I couldn't resist.

I created a square card (It is a coupon card), using the Spellbinders die *Lables Two* and Stampin' Up DP for the background. The label stamp from Waltzing Mouse is heat embossed in Grey.

Since I loved yesterdays flower on that little purse so much, I created another one in Orange today.

Thanks for stopping by!

CCCB week 39 Flower Show

I created this little purse for a friend's birthday, she will get a sign for the front door with her name on it (Hopefully I get it done).

I cut the flowers with the Tattered Florals by Tim Holtz from Crepe and spider paper and *Glimmer misted* them with Riptide, Orange and Pashmina. I didn't ruffle them, they turned this way just by blow drying!

The paper is an older one by K&Company.

A great challenge at the City Crafters Challenge Blog!

"Add some Stickles" and a "Colour challenge"

The challenge at CropStop for this week is "Add some Stickles" and I also used the colours for the challenge at the Play Date Café. This is my second entry for the CropStop challenge.

This is the card I created:

The paper is Stampin' Up, so is the sentiment.

I used Ranger Scattered Straw and Faded Jeans Distress stickles on the flower.

Liebster Blog Award

Ich fühle mich richtig gut ... Yipeeh!

Happy Valentine's Day!

This is my creation for the Sketch challenge at CCCB and the #2 challenge at Cropstop "Add some Stickles"!

For the BG I used a folder from the Cuttlebug Valentine Bundle. I stamped the Heartfelt Creation Posy stamps on PP and added "Worn Lipstick" Distress stickles on the edges.
This is a vintage photo from my stash.

The sentiment is Hero Arts.

Again today there is no light to take pictures, it is raining again, So please excuse the bad quality!

This is a close up for the VIVA Decor pearls I created with the paper pen (I bought them in 10 different yummy colours and I love them!)

And this is my card for Valentine's day:

Spring has sprung

This is my creation for the publication at ATC Quarterly, the theme: *Spring has sprung*.

I stamped the Crafty Individual image twice on DP, on which I had applied a layer of Gesso. I heat embossed the image and cut out the window frame from one print.

I added some lace, a picture I had taken in our garden some years ago and glued the frames to the inside of the window.

A dragon fly in copper, just to make it more lively :)

Thanks for looking!

CropStop Challenge #1 is a Sketch

I saved Glorias Sketch for a later date of course as I save all of her sketches.

This one is so pretty I had to do it now, and I mean NOW!

My favorite object, who else could that be (Kind of glad I don't have more than 2 cats, aren't you?) ... EMMA.

I used Bo Bunny *Kitchen Spice* paper. I matted with Soft Suede by Stampin' Up. The letterstamps are Tim Holtz, aren't they so beautiful?

The zipper punch is from EK Success. I just had to use because she looks so all zipped up ;)

AND .... I just received it yesterday!

Thanks Gloria from CropStop for this sketch!

A little close up of the chipboard tag:

I think I will change the picture tomorrow. It is so dark today because of the rain, it doesn't do all the pretty colours justice.

Colour Challenge #63 at the Pay Date Café

The colours at the Play Date Café this week are green, gold and silver.

I stamped the BG with Swirls by Viva Decor and heat embossed it with silver and gold. I wish I could show you in real, it is so pretty how the silver blends into the gold. The camera isn't able to pick it up, or maybe the photographer isn't?

The sentiment is on the inside as I didn't want to disturb all those pretty swirls :)

CropStop Challenge #1 is a Sketch

This is the first challenge at Cropstop and I was looking forward to it for quite some time.

The sketch was provided by Gloria and I decided to create an ATC as it was about time I made one.

I used the Gurnsey Gingham stamp by Unity for the BG and heat embossed it with clear powder.
The tiny piece of DP is Graphics45 (I guess you all have noticed already) and the gorgeous charms are from Lisa at Lisa's Altered Art.

The sentiment is a sticker from Cosmo Cricket. I'm not really into stickers that much, but this sheet was a gift and it finally came to use.

Winter White with a whiff of Raspberry

Do I love the outcome of this card?

Oh boy, YES I do!

I used  a Cuttlebug Folder for the background and matted it with the raspberry paper from SU. The sentiment is also stamped with the raspberry ink by SU. The flower consist of 1000+ layers *grin* of crepe and spiderpaper. It looks all feathery and fluffy.

I will use it as a wedding card!

A great challenge this week at the City Crafters Challenge Blog!
