12 Tags of 2013 .....

This technique Mr Holtz introduced is not for me since I don't use rub ons at all. But I had another idea to get the same effect. I stamped the images and applied mod podge on top, easy peasy, looks just the same and it MUCH cheaper since I have the stamps anyway and mod podge is always around for my mixed media outbreaks ;)

I especially love the look of the distress paint on metal, looks much better IRL, but with absolutely no light at all today my camera had a hard time picking it up ...

..... more boxes ;)

As I mentioned the other day, I always need little packages or boxes for "give aways". Once I understood how the flap worked it was all easy peasy, so here are a few more  ....  Best thing for using scraps for me :)

A home for my MOO's ... ;)

A Moo is a little card sized 2.8 x 7.1 centimeters,
or approximately 1.1 x 2.8 inches.

This week we created a *HOME FOR THE MOO's*

Since they don't fit in the sheets for ATC's or dies, 

I decided to pimp an old tin box to keep them snug ;)

A box for multiple use ...

I made the first of a row of boxes. I always look for the right packaging for little *lovies* to give away. I think this is the right size for me, measuring approx. 3 ¼", so it's big enough for sweets, a cup cake, tea bags, scrappy stuff  etc.

I need to work on the front flap a bit, this is not quite right :(

Tulips ....

Challenge #3 *Spring Fling* ....

..... Flower Power? Ok, the flowers were supposed to be handmade, so that's what I did.  I glued some cord to cardstock, fuzzy cut the stems and leaves, ready :)

Challenges 1 and 2 at the Spring Fling .....

.... at My Sketch World.

I started with Debbie's *MOTHER'S DAY* challenge and created this ATC ....

Lisa challenged us to create a *GET WET* card, this is my take:

I started out with a tag and applied distress paint. After that I applied Distress ink
and "spritzed & flicked" it with water.

Good thing I took a picture since I covered most of my tag with the frame :(

400 more ideas for handmade cards .......

WAHOO!

5 of my creations made it into the "CATCH UP ISSUE #17" from Stampers' Sampler .... I can hardly breathe.

When I received my copies over the last year and not all of my entries were published, I sometimes felt a bit sad; I had completely forgotten that the magazine has this additional issue once a year.

The editor, Andrea Rangno says about this: "When a card is simply too good to pass up, but can't be in another magazine, it feels so nice to know that it will get a chance to shine here!"

The title of the former Catch Up Issue is now *400 MORE IDEAS for handmade cards*
