ATC for Rubber Dance Stamps

I didn't think this ATC needed a sentiment :)

I used the Lace Background stamp, the deer from the *Frosty Friends* set and some twigs from the set *Pines Fir Ye

Altered Cigar Box

Hello my crafty friends!

Welcome to my Rubber Dance tutorial post.
Today I am going to show you how to turn a dull cigar box with a lot of stamps and some embellishments into a beautiful treasure box to keep for yourself or to give away. There is much room in the box, so someone will be a very happy person ;)

I started with Gesso to make the surface even. I used two shades of Brown and a tad of Red, since I knew my lace was going to be red.

I stamped all my images from the Set SEW SWEET on white card stock and cut them simply with scissors. I distressed the edges with Walnut Stain and set them aside.

I randomly stamped a few images on Design paper and also stamped the "tape measure"  on Sticky Canvas. The criss cross stitching is from our "Stitch & Frame" Set

I added sticky lace all around the lid of the box and decided against an knob or something else to open it, it is easy the way it is.
Here are some more pictures ....

I wish you a wonderful crafty day. See you all soon, Majo.

Some Steampunk at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers :)

It's been quite some time since I participated at the challenges at this marvelous blog, I love their creations and I love their attitude.

This time I created a tag using the Sizzix Steampunk die, a Cuttlebug embossing folder, a sentiment designed by Tim Holtz and some embellies.

I coloured the background with Ranger Distress Stain in Pewter, Black Soot and Bronze.

Grumpy Pengouin

I created an ATC for the "Anything goes" challenge at Paperminutes.

I used the grumpy animal stamp for the first time and I'm already in love with all the three  guys ;)

"Autumn"- Box with Rubber Dance Stamps

Good morning, my friends!
Yesterday I played with my Rubber Dance Stamps (4 sets of them) and came up with a little box to give away during fall to my friends with little things to make them happy, i.e. tea bags, sweets, masks, bubble bath samples etc.

I used the *Lace* background (unfortunately hard to see, the camera didn't pick it up in the sunshine), the sentiments from the *Just a note* set, the beautiful butterflies from the set *Antique Botanicals* and for some texture the stamps from the *Weed Love* set.

This is my little box:

I wish you a good start into the new week and I hope you find enough time to craft ♥

Use Stencils on your project ♥

Challenge #191 at Use Your Stuff

I have chosen to use heart stencils on my project.

Since I know me and also the fact that I tend to cover a lot of my background, I show you what I started with, a canvas on which I used Gelatos and a heart stencil.

I added the birds from Darkroom Door and a sentiment from Crafty Impressions.
I mixed texture paste with distress ink "Wild Honey" and added some dots for more texture. I also randomly stamped with a sentiment stamp all over the canvas.
One of the little birds needed a goggle eye ;)
Have fun crafting, hope to see you here, where I can enjoy your creations ♥

NBUS Challenge

I participate at Darnell's challenges for the first time.

Since I just got some Darkroom Door Stamps yesterday and also hadn't used my brand new Christmas Set from Rubber Dance Stamps, I gave it a go and created my first Christmas card in under 5 minutes :)

Gift Wrapping with Rubber Dance Stamps

Today I'd like to show you how you can easily turn plain paper into something to wrap around a gift.

I used Rubber Dance Stamps for this:

The sentiments are from the set *HAPPY BIRTHDAY*, the flowers from *Bold & Beautiful* and the little hearts from the set *Think again*.

I added two little hearts cut from corrugated cardboard with a Sizzix die designed by Tim Holtz.

Happy Crafting ♥

12 Tags of 2015

This time I had to make a lot of changes: I didn't have any transparent texture paste, so I used an embossing folder with a diffuser I tried the frosted film, looked awful, so I used *Clearly for Art* Acetate, worked to my satisfaction ;)

Then I wasn't able to take picture with the "shiny" butterflies :(

Well, I guess you can see what I mean ....

Have a wonderful Sunday ♥

Matchbox with Rubber Dance Stamps

A perfect little box for the perfect little give away ...

I stamped and embossed one of the lovely hearts from the *I Heart Art* set from Rubber Dance and added some Victorian Velvet distress ink. I adhered washi tape on the sides and added some design paper on the inside.

Ready is my little box for trinkets, sweets or other small gifts.

Happy crafting ♥
