She spread her wings ► VLVS! Blog

Hello Peeps,
today I’d like to show you a tag with lots of VLVS! Stamps, I used two of my favorites, the Squiggle heart and the striped leggings. They’re both so versatile.

I started with a piece of cardstock I had created a while ago. I always do that to have something at hand when I need it. For me it’s relaxing to create something without a goal, just paint, splash, ink, brush …

Let’s get started.
I cut a tag from my master board and stamped the Squiggle heart. I also stamped the heart on a piece of white cardstock and painted it with watered down distress ink.

After masking the image, I stamped the leggings “underneath" and added the butterfly wing and my sentiment.
For a bit more texture, I stamped the background with a sentiment and added a rub on for the lady to stand on.
A little wooden charm finished my creation.

Have fun playing with your stamps!
I have used the following:
19634 (all from plate 1459)
19832 from plate 1471

Please stay safe, my friends and have fun creating. Happy stamping ♥

Some ratbags on FaceBook gave me a hard time and I had some "clean up" to do. This felt SO good, let me tell you!

Some close ups for you .....

You are here ► Viva Las VegaStamps!

Hi Folks, I'm on the blog today over at VLVS!

I’d like to show you a tag I made with lots of water. I used Distress inks in four different colors: Victorian Velvet, Bundles Sage, Shaded Lilac and Hickory Smoke.

I started by cutting a tag from watercolor paper and applied distress ink to my craft sheet. I drew stripes with a rather large brush. I stamped the dots in the same color, spritzing the stamp with water after inking.  I used a brush to spritz some ink on may tag.

I told you, lots of water needed for my creation this time.

I stamped the circles with Hickory Smoke.

After stamping the sentiment on a separate piece of watercolor paper, I added glue dots to adhere it to my tag.

I have used the following stamps:

19563

Distress Inks:
Victorian Velvet
 Bundled Sage
 Shaded Lilac
 Hickory Smoke

Have a happy week, stay healthy and take good care of yourself and the loved ones ♥

*R* is for Retro ► Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers

Welcome, my friends ♥

*R* is for Retro

I have used a VLVS image and used a sentiment I found in the net.

Nowadays I find it really hard to be snarky, the situation worldwide makes me so sad. I have spent Day 24 in my house as of today, I'm sick and tired of Corona.

Please bear with me, I needed to say this.

The Road not taken ► VLVS!

Hi Sweets!

I'm on the VLVS! Blog today with a card I made for the Craft Stamper Magazine in UK.

Unfortunately, it got stuck in the mail and didn’t make it on time to the editor.

So this gives me the chance to show it to you here on the blog. It’s so self-explaining, I don’t need to say much about it.

.... and some close ups for you:

I have used the following stamps:

19038
1948
19179
20363

Thanks you so much for stopping by. Stay safe, my friends ♥

A little Gift Box ► VLVS!

Hi Folks,

Today I'd like to show you a gift box I made for my friend’s Birthday.

I have used the stamps from Plate 916, a very versatile set, which I love very much, since I always love flowers.

This is the little box I upcycled:

I will give this to a friend who borrows sentiment stamps from me all the time, now she will have some of her own.

I cut my panel according to the size of my box, scored the lines and applied distress ink in 3 different colors. I didn’t take pictures of this process, you all know this works.

When my panel had dried up, I started stamping my flowers. I didn’t want to use black ink; it would’ve been too hard in my eyes, so the “Watering can” from Ranger was right down my alley.

I wrapped the panel around the box, added a ribbon and ready!

I must say, this was a fun project, the size of the stamps enabled me to stamp really close together, I have a few more projects on my mind already.

The flower stamps I used:

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop over!

Happy week and happy crafting ♥
